About us

The concept of MASIS was first considered over eight years ago. However, since MASIS was successful in gaining both registered charity and community interest company accreditations, the concept has become a reality!

Addressing methods to help boost self-esteem and well-being of disabled people (and individuals with long-term health conditions) enabling them to play as active roles in society as possible is a ‘monumental’ and diverse task.

MASIS cannot address all issues, but as a result of links established with numerous charities as well as government departments and organisations, MASIS knows the people who can provide expert disability information and support.

Commercial relationships are strongly encouraged especially as all charities need to generate revenue to ensure their future survival. Any income received from commercial deals and advertising will (once MASIS has addressed relevant operating costs), be redistributed into health research projects which are investigating and hopefully combating the many barriers disabled people and those with long-term health conditions face.
